The truck driver who shouts "Banzai" while ripping Sheriff Justice's door off was played by actor Bill Saito. Bill Saito was a character actor and played in several movies including a movie called "The Wrecking Crew" in 1968.

Other actors in that movie were:

• Dean Martin
• Sharon Tate

This movie was Chuck Norris's filming debut.

Dean Martin was in "Cannon Ball Run" with Burt Reynolds in 1981. Directed by Hal Needham The story of Sharon Tate was told (with an alternate ending) in the movie "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood".

As part of the plot line of the movie, Sharon Tate goes to the theater to watch herself in "The Wrecking Crew".

In this altered version of her story, her next door neighbor was fictional actor Rick Dalton who had a fictional friend and stunt double Cliff Booth.

These characters were loosely based on the friendship between Burt Reynolds and Hal Needham.

Burt Reynolds was supposed to be in "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood" but passed away before his scenes were filmed.
