** BEHIND THE SCENES ** 9/13/1976 ** 46th Anniversary of Filming Day #12 "He drives pretty good, don't he Sheriff"

What I find interesting is that this sequence was filmed at 4 different locations and on 4 different days . They used 3 different Trans Ams. I included some screen thumbnails below and color coded them:

• RED * Helen, GA - 9/13/76 - in front of the Rock Shop These scenes were filmed by 2nd unit. There are no primary actors in the scenes from this day and location. The Trans Am used here is the STUNT CAR (with roll bar). This car will be used for the Football Jump scene in a few days.

• BLUE * Jonesboro, GA - GA Hwy 54 Near Simpson Road These scenes were filmed with the primary actors using Trans Am INSERT CAR #2 (with no back window). The filming date is unknown at this time.

• PURPLE * Jonesboro, GA - 9550 GA Hwy 54 This scene was filmed at the same location that Fred goes for a swim. This uses Trans Am HERO CAR #1 ("G" logo on windshield). Filming date unknown.
