If you've never read the original script, you should check this out. It really makes you appreciate the movie and all the improvisation that took place. That is what really gave the movie its heart.
My favorite part is the diner scene. Comparing the original script to what Jackie Gleason wrote in is pure gold!
I believe this script is dated July 30, 1976. For context, they started filming on August 30, 1976.
