76 TRUCK STOP'S TWIN SISTER STATION

Special thanks to Gene Kennedy for pointing me to this awesome truck stop. This Exxon Station in LaGrange, GA is almost an exact copy of the 76 Truck Stop in the movie. Unfortunately the original movie building was torn down in the late 80s and replaced with a Best Buy in the 90s.
This sister station is 91.5 miles from the original movie location. Comparing the aerial photos they are even oriented the same (relative to north). The parking lots are close to the same size.
There are a few subtle difference between the 2 buildings. But the similarities are uncanny! This is an amazing find! It looks like a great place to visit as a twin to the long lost 76 Truck Stop.
